Obnews Tech Desk: If you are using Microsoft Office 365, then this news is important for you. Microsoft has announced that it will stop supporting Office 365 Apps on Windows 10 from October 14, 2025.

What is Microsoft's new decision?

The company says that to continue using Office 365 Apps, users will have to upgrade their system to Windows 11. Additionally, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1 users will also not be able to use Office 365.

Microsoft clarified, “After October 14, 2025, Windows 10 users will no longer be able to use Microsoft 365 Apps. To continue using Office 365, a system upgrade is required.”

Bad news for pirated Windows 10 users

Users using pirated Windows 10 will not be able to upgrade to Windows 11. However, those who purchased the original Windows 10 can upgrade to Windows 11 at no additional charge.

There may be a problem in upgrade

To upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11, it is mandatory for the system to have a TPM 2.0 chip. If your device doesn't have this chip, you won't be able to upgrade to Windows 11.
