'Free ration, Rs 500 cylinder and 300 units of electricity FREE', Congress announced 3 new guarantees in Delhi, inflation relief and free electricity scheme announced

Delhi Assembly Elections 2025: A round of promises is going on from the parties to win the Delhi Assembly elections and woo the voters. In this context, Congress has announced three guarantees. The party has announced these guarantees to defeat AAP. If it wins the Delhi elections and comes to power, Congress has promised to provide gas cylinder for Rs 500, free ration kit and 300 units of free electricity. Earlier, the party had announced health insurance of Rs 25 lakh, Rs 8500 per month to unemployed youth and Rs 2500 per month to women.

On Thursday, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Delhi in-charge Qazi Nizamuddin and State President Devendra Yadav announced three guarantees. If Congress wins the elections in Delhi, it will give free gas cylinder and ration kit for Rs 500 under the inflation relief scheme. This ration kit will contain 2 kg sugar, 1 liter oil, 6 kg pulses and 250 grams tea leaves. Apart from this, 300 units of electricity will be given free under the Free Electricity Scheme.

Telangana CM said this

Telangana CM said that Congress will implement all five guarantees in Delhi if it comes to power. He has also appealed to the people of Delhi to form Congress government. Apart from this, he has also fiercely targeted Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Revanth Reddy further said that Congress has kept the promise in Telangana and it will be fulfilled if the government is formed in Delhi.

Congress announced candidates for all 70 seats

Congress Party has announced its candidates for all 70 assembly seats of Delhi. By declaring candidates on all the seats, Congress wants to indicate that it is going to contest this election seriously. For the last two consecutive times, Congress has not won a single seat in the assembly elections. This time, if the graph of Aam Aadmi Party falls, Congress may get benefit from it. This time the Congress party is contesting the elections with full strength in Delhi. The party is trying to regain its old glory in Delhi.

Delhi election process

• The Election Commission had announced the election schedules for Delhi Assembly on January 7.
• The nomination process started from January 10.
• Candidates can file their nominations till 17th January.
• Nominations will be scrutinized on January 18.
• Candidates can withdraw their names till January 20.
• Voting will take place on 5 February 2025.
• The results of Delhi Assembly elections will be declared on 8th February.
