The India vs England series is going to begin with a T20I at the Eden Gardens on January 22. The Indian team is going to report at Kolkata on January 18, and it has came to being known that a three day camp will be held in the eastern metropolis.
“Kotak will be joining the Indian team as a batting coach. The Indian team will be having a three day-camp in Kolkata and players will be reporting on January 18,” a source in the Indian board said.
The Indian team is currently guided by head coach Gautam Gambhir, assistant coach Abhishek Nayar , assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate, bowling coach Morne Morkel, and fielding coach T Dilip.
The roles of the support staff came under investigation after India’s tour to Australia, and it was even the topic of discussion during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy as well.
