The court has ordered the state government to conduct municipal elections within four months. Justice Anand Sen's court gave strict instructions while hearing the petition of outgoing Ranchi councilor Roshni Khalkho.

Order was given and the court told the government that elections have not been held in many places for the last five years, this is a very serious matter, after this the government said to hold elections in four months, after this the court asked to complete the election process in four months. ordered The Chief Secretary and the government agreed on this, the government told the court that the government has not yet received the new voter list published by the Election Commission from January 5, which may cause problems in conducting the elections, on this the court ordered the elections. The commission has been given a week's time and ordered for hearing again next week.
