The shocking attack on Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan at his residence in the upscale Bandra area of Mumbai has left the entire Bollywood industry in mourning.
Following the attack, Saif Ali Khan’s children, Ibrahim Ali Khan and Sara Ali Khan along with his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan, sister Soha Ali Khan, Sanjay Dutt and other industry stars visited Saif at Mumbai’s Leelavati Hospital.
Recently, Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan also expressed his sadness over the shocking attack on Saif Ali Khan calling the incident “terrifying and tragic.”
In an interview with Indian media, Kartik said, “The attack on Saif Ali Khan is extremely unfortunate and has shocked the entire Bollywood industry.”
He added, “My prayers are with Saif, and I hope he recovers soon.”
Kartik Aaryan responds to Paparazzi blame
When journalists asked Kartik about the speculation on social media blaming the paparazzi for the attack, he stated, “Given the situation today, it’s not like we can hide from the paparazzi because they know where we are and what we’re doing.”
Kartik further explained, “Sometimes the situation gets out of hand with the paparazzi, but that doesn’t mean we should blame them for such incidents. They do this for their livelihood, and we also need them for movie promotions.”
Kartik emphasized, “Blaming the paparazzi for the incident is not right in my opinion because they are just doing their job, following today’s culture.”
It is important to note that after the attack, Saif Ali Khan was rushed to Leelavati Hospital in Mumbai at around 3:30 AM where he underwent surgery.
In a statement released by Saif Ali Khan’s PR team, fans were informed that the surgery was successful and he is now out of danger.
