Kho-Kho World Cup 2025: India's men's team defeated Bhutan and made it to the quarter-finals.

New Delhi. India's men's Kho-Kho team defeated Bhutan by a huge margin of 71-34 at the IG Indoor Stadium on Thursday night to reach the quarter-finals of the Kho-Kho World Cup 2025. With this victory, India has reached the top position in Group-A.

India's brilliant performance in the first turn
India dominated from the beginning of the match. In the first turn, Indian players played aggressively and scored 32 points. The team thrilled the audience with their sky diving skills and spectacular agility.

Defense shines in the second turn
In the second turn, the Indian team displayed its best defense and limited Bhutan to just 18 points. Bhutan showed aggression, but the strategy and precise opposition management of the Indian players restricted their momentum.

India's strong comeback in the third turn
In the third turn, the Indian team attacked with new enthusiasm. Nikhil's extraordinary sky diving skills made him the star of the match. The team added 36 points in this turn and further strengthened its dominance.

Bhutan's efforts failed
India remained in control even in Bhutan's last attacking turn. Bhutan struggled for most of the regulation time and could only score 9 points.

Women also registered a big victory over Malaysia
Earlier, the Indian women's team won over Malaysia by a margin of 80 points. Topping Group A, the Indian team will now face Bangladesh in the quarter-finals.

The women's team played brilliantly in all four turns of the match. The performances of defenders Bhilar Opinben and Monica led India to dominate the match. Monica and Nirmala Bhati consolidated the lead in Turn 2, while Subhashree Singh led a dream run in Turn 3.
