According to a report, TikTok is planning to completely shut down the app in the US. Whenever a user opens the app, he will be redirected to a website where information about the closure of the app will be available. TikTok has been accused of misuse of users' data and links with the Chinese government for a long time. US President Joe Biden had given Bytedance until January 19, 2025 to sell its US operations.
