After Saif Ali Khan’s brutal knife stabbing, his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan, finally opened up on the matter. Taking to Instagram, the actress shared a post about how ‘incredibly challenging day’ it was for the entire family. Through her post, the Jab We Met actress also asked paps to make any speculations and give the family ‘space to cope’ with the incident.
In her Instagram post, Kareena Kapoor wrote, “It has been an incredibly challenging day for our family, and we are still trying to process the events that have unfolded. As we navigate this difficult time, I respectfully and humbly request that the media and paparazzi refrain from the relentless speculation and coverage.
While we appreciate the concern and support, the constant scrutiny and attention are not only overwhelming but also pose a significant risk to our safety. I kindly request that you respect our boundaries and give us the space we need to heal and cope as a family.
I would like to thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation during this sensitive time.

Saif Ali Khan was brutally stabbed during the wee hours of January 16, 2025. The actor was attacked with a knife six times. He was rushed to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital by his son Ibrahim Ali Khan. The actor underwent surgery. Doctors revealed that he sustained a thoracic spinal cord injury.
Dr. Nitin, who treated Saif said in a press announcement, “Saif Ali Khan was admitted to the hospital at 2 am with an alleged history of assault by an unknown person. He sustained a major injury to the thoracic spinal cord due to a lodged knife in the spine. A surgery was performed to remove the knife and repair leaking spinal fluid.”
“Two other deep wounds on his left hand and one on his neck were repaired by the plastic surgery team. He is completely stable now. He is recovering well and out of danger,” Dr. Nitin added.
Currently, the face of an intruder who stabbed the actor has been caught on CCTV camera. Reports also claimed that the intruder demanded a ransom of Rs 1 crore. Seven teams have now been formed by the Mumbai police to track down the attacker.
