Bharat Mobility Global Expo starts from today, this time emphasis will be on electric vehicles

New Delhi: Today i.e. on Friday, January 17, PM Modi will inaugurate the Auto Expo. This program will run from today till January 22 at Bharat Mandapam in the capital Delhi. More than 100 new models will be introduced in it. More than 100 companies from the country and the world will participate. There will be special emphasis on electric vehicles in this time's Auto Expo.

The exhibition, which begins today, is expected to showcase more than 100 new vehicles, components and technology offerings with an emphasis on electric vehicles. This exhibition of vehicles will run from today till January 22. In this, various types of vehicles as well as everything related to vehicles will be seen under one roof. This means that along with vehicle manufacturers, products from component, electronic equipment, tire and energy storage manufacturers as well as vehicle software companies will be seen in it.

The theme of the vehicle exhibition is 'Beyond Boundaries: Co-creating the vehicle value chain of the future'. This theme reflects collaboration and innovation in the automotive sector. There will be an emphasis on sustainable and cutting-edge technological advancements. This time the global exhibition is being organized at three places… Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, Yashobhoomi in Dwarka and India Expo Center and Mart in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

It is noteworthy that India's major auto exhibition held every two years has now been linked with 'Bharat Mobility Global Expo' (India Vehicle Global Exhibition). Also, after being held at India Expo Center & Mart, Greater Noida for more than 10 years, it is coming back to its original venue, Pragati Maidan (now Bharat Mandapam). The global auto exhibition is being hosted by industry organizations in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

These include Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), India Energy Storage Alliance (ISA), Automotive Tire Manufacturers Association (ATMA), Indian Construction Equipment Manufacturers Association (ICEMA), NASSCOM, Indian Steel Association. , Material Recycling Association of India and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).

It will involve 5,100 international participants. According to an estimate, more than five lakh people from all over the world are expected to attend it. In the vehicle segment at the Bharat Mandapam, electric vehicles are expected to be in the spotlight. Leading automobile company Maruti Suzuki is preparing to introduce its first electric vehicle, SUV e Vitara. Whereas Hyundai Motor India Ltd. Will introduce EV version of Creta for the first time.

In this regard, in the segment of luxury i.e. expensive vehicles, Germany's Mercedes-Benz will present its electric EQS ​​Maybach SUV while will showcase the electric concept CLA and G electric SUVs. Similarly, apart from introducing its new BMW X3, BMW will also introduce the fully electric BMW i7. In total, more than 40 new products are expected to be introduced at the vehicle exhibition.

More than 1,000 units from seven countries will participate in the spare parts exhibition to be held at Yashobhoomi from January 18-21, 2025. It will have pavilions from five countries… Japan, Germany, South Korea, Taiwan and Britain. Companies from America, Israel and Thailand are participating in it. More than 60 new products and technologies are expected to be introduced at the spares exhibition.
