Azaad OTT Release: Ajay Devgn’s nephew Aaman Devgan’s debut movie Azaad, which also marks the Bollywood debut of Raveena Tandon’s daughter Rasha Thadani, is finally out in the theaters.
Released on big screens on January 17th, 2024, the period drama has kick-started its theatrical journey on a modest note & is receiving a mixed reception from the cinegoers.
While a section of fans are lauding the impressive acting performance of fresh actors Aaman and Rasha, others are criticizing the movie’s slow-paced story which, at intervals, ends up testing the patience of the viewers.
Nevertheless, keeping the negative part aside, there’s still a decent craze about Azaad in the public, especially amongst the folks who are unwilling to enjoy it in theaters & are waiting for its OTT premiere.

Plot of the Movie
Set in the British-ruled India of the 1920s, Azaad revolves around the tale of Govind, a stable rural boy who gets attached to Azaad, a majestic black horse owned by Vikram Singh, a leader of a rebel group.
The movie shows how initially, Govind fails to bond with Azaad but things between the two change after the tragic death of Vikram Singh. How Govind works hard to win the trust of the beautiful horse and how the duo becomes a ray of hope for the commoners against the ruthless British colonizers is the remaining story of the film.

Besides Aaman Devgan and Rasha Thadani, Azaad, in its star cast, also features Diana Penty, Aaman Devgan, Rasha Thadani, Piyush Mishra, Mohit Malik, Jiya Amin, Akshay Anand Kohli, Dylan Jones, and Andrew Crouch in key roles. Pragya Kapoor, in association with Ronnie Screwvala, has produced the movie with RSVP Movies and Sky Pictures backing it under their banners.
