12 Indians fighting on behalf of Russian army against Ukraine died, 16 missing

New Delhi. 16 Indian citizens fighting on behalf of the Russian Army against Ukraine have gone missing. With this, 12 Indian citizens have died. Indian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal gave this information on Friday.

96 people returned to India

External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said that till now 126 cases of Indian citizens joining the Russian army had been reported. During this period, 96 people have returned to India. But the rest of the people are still stuck in Russia. 16 of them are missing.

12 Indians died

The Indian Foreign Ministry said that we are talking to the Russian government regarding the release of the remaining Indian citizens. During this, he told that 12 Indian citizens have lost their lives in the Russia-Ukraine war. Apart from this, an Indian citizen named Jain TK has been injured in the war, who is undergoing treatment in Moscow. He will return to India after completion of treatment.
