There has been news of fire in a flat at midnight in Jwalapur area. To save himself, the property dealer jumped from the third floor. He died due to injury after falling down. During this time the wife and son narrowly escaped. The pet dog burnt to death in the fire. As soon as information about the fire was received, the fire team reached the spot. After hard work the fire team brought the fire under control. It was said that the room heater was burning in the room, when it caught fire. Police have sent the body for post-mortem. According to the police, a fire broke out in the flat of Manvendra Pratap Singh in Nakshatra Vatika Colony, near the highway in Jwalapur area, around 2.30 pm on Wednesday.

To escape the fire, Manvendra jumped from the third floor. Here the injured Manvendra was brought to the nearby Bhumanand Hospital. After receiving information from the police control room, the fire brigade team started extinguishing the fire. Manvendra Pratap Singh died during treatment.

According to Jwalapur Kotwali in-charge Pradeep Bisht, the property dealer's wife Soni Singh was sleeping in another room. When the fire broke out, he came down. Due to this he lost his life. The bed ply caught fire from the heater. According to doctors, the bones in Manvendra Pratap Singh's body were broken.

Fire extinguished in two hours

It took two hours to extinguish the massive fire that broke out in the house. The fire brigade team had to work hard. It is fortunate that the fire did not reach the other flat.
