India's men's and women's team made it to the semi-finals of Kho-Kho World Cup 2025.

New Delhi. India's men's and women's Kho-Kho teams have entered the semi-finals of the Kho-Kho World Cup 2025 with impressive performances. Indian teams performed strongly in their respective quarter-final matches and defeated their rival teams.

Men's category: India defeated Sri Lanka and made it to the semi-finals
The Indian men's team, under the leadership of captain Prateek Waikar, Ramji Kashyap, and Aditya Ganpule, played brilliantly and defeated Sri Lanka by a huge margin of 100-40.

Turn 1: Indian team made a strong start by scoring 58 points. The team did not allow Sri Lanka to score any points, thereby controlling the game early.

Turn 2: Sri Lanka tried to make a comeback, but the Indian defenders kept them in check. Ramji Kashyap and Aniket Pote kept the team's lead strong.

Turn 3 and 4: Indian team played aggressively. Spectacular sky dives and pole dives by V Subramani, Shiva Reddy, and Pratik Vaykar took the team to the semi-finals.

Women's category: Indian team reached semi-finals after defeating Bangladesh
The Indian women's team, led by captain Priyanka Ingle, entered the semi-finals by defeating Bangladesh by a huge margin of 109-16.
Turn 1: India dominated from the beginning of the match. Priyanka Ingle and Nasreen Shaikh played brilliantly.
Turn 2: India scored a dream run of 5 minutes 36 seconds, in which the performances of Ashwini Shinde and Reshma Rathore were very impressive.
Turns 3 & 4: Reshma Rathod's spectacular sky dive and a solid performance from the team helped India score 100+ points for the fifth consecutive time.

Other quarter final results
Women's Category:
Uganda defeated New Zealand 71–26.
South Africa defeated Kenya in a close match 51–46.
Nepal entered the semi-finals by defeating Iran by a huge margin of 103-8.

Men's Category:
Iran defeated Kenya 86–18.
South Africa defeated England 58-38.
Nepal won 67-18 over Bangladesh.
