India's women's Kho-Kho team enters World Cup semi-finals by defeating Bangladesh

New Delhi. The Indian women's Kho-Kho team entered the semi-finals of the 2025 Kho-Kho World Cup by defeating Bangladesh by a huge margin of 109-16 in the quarter-final match. In this match played at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, the Indian team maintained its dominance by performing brilliantly in all four turns.

Thanks to the leadership ability of captain Priyanka Ingle and the disciplined play of the team, India scored its fifth consecutive century in the tournament. In Turn 2, the Indian players completed a dream run of 5 minutes 36 seconds, which closed all avenues of comeback for Bangladesh.
