Bharatiya Janata Party's Union Minister JP Nadda has announced the first phase of BJP's resolution letter. Pregnant women, elderly and disabled people will also get the benefits of many schemes. JP Nadda said that BJP has prepared the resolution letter after taking feedback from 1.80 lakh people.
JP Nadda made announcements for the elderly
JP Nadda said that Ayushman Bharat scheme will be launched in the first cabinet meeting. In this, a benefit of Rs 5 lakh will be given by the Central Government under the Ayushman Scheme issued by Prime Minister Modi and an additional cover of Rs 5 lakh will be given by the Delhi Government. Initially 51 lakh people will get its benefit. Health insurance of Rs 10 lakh will be provided for senior citizens above 70 years of age.
The pension of elderly people between 60 years to 65 years will be increased from Rs 2000 to Rs 2500. At the same time, the pension of Rs 2500 (withheld by the AAP government) being received by the elderly above 65 years, disabled people and widowed women will be increased to Rs 3000.
Announced for women and pregnant women
While issuing the resolution letter, JP Nadda said that Mahila Samriddhi Yojana will be passed in the first meeting of the cabinet and under this, women will be given Rs 2500 per month. JP Nadda said that poor families will be given a subsidy of Rs 500 on LPG cylinder. Two cylinders will be given free in a year on the occasion of Holi and Diwali. Maternal protection scheme for pregnant women will be further strengthened. Under this scheme, pregnant women will be given six nutritional kits and financial assistance of Rs 30 thousand.
Full meal for slum dwellers for five rupees
Atal Canteen Yojana will be started to provide full meals to all the slums for Rs 5. Along with this, Nadda has also made it clear that the schemes started by Arvind Kejriwal for the public welfare of Delhi will continue.
