Central Bureau of Communications under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting organized Mission Life Awareness Programs at Silchar, Assam.

Assam Sribhoomi (Karimganj) Correspondent Daily Read: A program was organized at Tea Garden Boys Hostel, Udayan Bhawan Road, Silchar on 16 January (Thursday) by Field Office Silchar under the supervision of Central Bureau of Communications, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Barak Valley in collaboration with Youth Welfare Committee. Focusing on awareness of mission life and discussing awareness on other topics.

This program was organized by Dr. Babul Narayan Kanu, Secretary of Barak Valley Tea Workers Union. On this occasion, as speakers, former Chairman of English Department Niranjan Roy and Dr. Santosh Ranjan Chakraborty, Shubhodeep Roychoudhary and Shubhojit Chakraborty, social worker Sanchita Acharya and Regional Publicity Officer gave detailed information about W Mission Life. Around 60 students from various colleges and schools participated in the event.

The program was conducted by Gangasagar Karmakar, General Secretary of Cha Youth Welfare Association. Apart from students Babul Tanti, Bukdar Fulmali, Ashu Tanti and Prasad Bhar participated in the program. A quiz competition was organized for the students under the leadership of Vishwajit Carey, Administrative General Secretary of Cha Yuva Kalyan Samiti. The winners were honored with prizes. During the program, students presented welcome songs and dances, which further enriched the cultural orientation.
