'Gate of Heaven', Hathi Ram and Mahabharata
The final season of the first season of 'Patal Lok' was named 'Gate of Heaven'. In this, Inspector Hakki Ram Chaudhary visits the office of Sanjeev Mehra (Neeraj Kabi) and reports to him about his adventure in Chitrakoot. The story begins with a line in the Mahabharata, in which the elephant Ram tells Sanjeev that a dog has saved his life. Hathi Ram says to Sanjeev, 'A man who loves dogs is a good man.' He creates the illusion that the protagonist was the victim of a murder plot in the show's pilot episode. Sanjeev Mehra, once a well-known journalist and news anchor, reveals during a live telecast, in the face of declining ratings and falling popularity, that the perpetrators of the assassination attempt were actually ISI operatives. There were four criminals in 'Patal Lok' and they had a very complex story. These four were Hathoda Tyagi, Kabir M, Tope Singh and Chini. His brother-in-law Gwala Gurjar wants to earn a name in politics and is a dacoit. But Hathi Ram shows his research that Donulia has died and he has kept her death a secret. A doctor appears while examining a lifeless body, but Donulia is nowhere to be seen. To hide the news of Donulia's death, Gwala immediately kills the doctor.

After this, a conspiracy begins against Hammer Tyagi. Using caste politics as his platform, Gwala decides to challenge Bajpai (Anoop Jalota) in the upcoming elections. The news of Donulia's death and his desire to contest the elections reaches Bajpayee. Furthermore, Bajpayee knows that Gwala, Hammer has the potential to use Tyagi as a weapon. Bajpayee then hatched a conspiracy out of hatred to kill Tyagi. He wants to clear his way by falsely accusing Hammer Tyagi of a crime. On the other hand, Hati Ram claims that Sanjeev was from high profile and this was the reason for his involvement in the crime. The real victim was Hammer Tyagi, not Sanjeev Mehra. But just as the DCP is preparing to kill Tyagi, a media van arrives there.
