California Wildfires: Fire fighters are working hard to control the forest fire in California.

California Wildfires : “Cool temperatures, light winds and good humidity were observed overnight and into this morning,” the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (Cal Fire) said in an update Friday morning. Fire spread around structures that are within controlled areas while providing protection for the public and incident personnel.” The Eaton Fire, another major active blaze, was reportedly 65 percent contained as of Friday morning, up from 55 percent a day earlier. The fire has burned 14,117 acres near Altadena and Pasadena.

According to reports, Cal Fire said firefighters are working on building and improving containment lines in the steep, inaccessible terrain in the area. According to Cal Fire, containment of the fire continues to increase and the fire is expected to remain within its current scope. Local officials said at least 11,000 residents would be able to return to their homes after some evacuation orders were lifted on Thursday. But people are required to show proof of residence to access areas while some other areas devastated by wildfires will still not be open to the public.
