It is my good fortune to take Sangam bath in Mahakumbh, everyone comes here with a feeling of solidarity: Rajnath Singh

Prayagraj. A large number of devotees are arriving in Mahakumbh. On Saturday, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh also took a dip in the Sangam. Along with this, Aarti of Mother Ganga was performed amidst Vedic chanting with full rituals. Many leaders including Rajya Sabha MP Sudhanshu Trivedi were present with him. Rajnath Singh first took bath in the holy triveni confluence of Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati and proclaimed Sanatan ki Jai, Ganga Maiya ki Jai. He took stock of the arrangements for Mahakumbh after visiting Akshayavat, Patalpuri and Bade Hanuman ji from the banks of Sangam.

Meanwhile, Rajnath Singh said, I am feeling very grateful by coming to the Mahakumbh of Prayagraj and taking a bath in the Sangam. I believe that this is a festival of spiritual experience of Indian culture and Sanatan Dharma, which is based on ancient Vedic astronomical calculations.

People of all castes, creeds and many countries also come here with a sense of unity. I believe that this is a confluence of spirituality, scientificity of Sanatan Dharma along with Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati as well as social harmony. Prime Minister Modi ji has said that the message of Mahakumbh is that India will remain one country.

He further said, the manner in which our Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ji has efficiently organized this eternal spiritual and world's largest public gathering, he deserves gratitude and congratulations for it.
