1. Poha Pizza
Material:
Poha – 1 cup
Vegetables (capsicum, onion, tomato) – 1/2 cup
Pizza sauce – 2 spoons
Grated cheese – 1/4 cup
Oregano and chili flakes – as per taste
Green Coriander – 1 teaspoon
Method:
Wash the poha thoroughly and then steam it.
Heat some oil in a pan and add vegetables and sauté lightly.
Place poha in a plate and top with pizza sauce, sautéed vegetables, cheese and spices.
Bake it in the oven for 5-10 minutes or cover it and let it sizzling on the pan.
Add green coriander and serve hot.
2. Carrot and Potato Hash Brown Cutlets
Material:
Boiled carrots – 1/2 cup
Boiled potatoes – 1
Finely chopped onion – 1/2
Ginger-garlic paste – 1/2 teaspoon
Chili flakes, oregano – as per taste
Bread crumbs – 1/2 cup
salt to taste
Oil – for frying
Method:
Mash boiled potatoes and carrots well.
Add onion, ginger-garlic paste, chili flakes, and oregano and mix well.
Add bread crumbs, knead the mixture well and make small cutlets.
Heat oil and fry these cutlets until they become crispy.
Serve with sauce.
3. Batata Vada Dosa
Material:
Dosa batter – 1 cup
Boiled potatoes – 2
Finely chopped onion, green chilli – 1/4 cup
Tadka spices (mustard seeds, cumin seeds, green chillies, curry leaves) – 1 teaspoon
Green coriander – for decoration
Oil – 1 teaspoon
Method:
Boil the potatoes, mash them and prepare the mixture by adding onion, green chillies, tadka spices.
Make dosa by adding a little oil to the dosa pan.
Place the potato mixture on the dosa and roll it.
Sprinkle green coriander and serve.
4. Chai Masala Soup
Material:
Cabbage (chopped) – 1 cup
Carrot – 1 (grated)
Ginger – 1 inch
Cinnamon, cloves, cardamom all 2-3
Masala tea leaves – 1/2 teaspoon
Salt and sugar – as per taste
Lemon juice – 1 teaspoon
Water – 2 cups
Method:
Boil water in a pan and add masala tea leaves, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and let it boil for 5-7 minutes.
After this add cabbage and carrot and let it cook for 10 minutes.
Add salt, sugar and lemon juice and serve the soup hot.
5. Fried Rice Samosa
Material:
Samosa Patti – 4-5
Boiled rice – 1 cup
Finely chopped capsicum, onion, carrot, peas – 1/2 cup
Soya sauce – 1 teaspoon
Spices (chili flakes, turmeric, ginger garlic paste) – as per taste
Oil – for frying
Method:
Heat oil in a pan, add vegetables and spices and sauté.
Add boiled rice and soya sauce and mix well.
Make samosas by filling this mixture in samosa strips and fry them in hot oil.
Serve these samosas with green chutney.
