Mumbai : Saif Ali Khan was attacked with a knife by an intruder at his house on Wednesday night (January 15, 2025). Saif was badly injured in the knife attack. Leaving her husband in an injured condition, Kareena Kapoor Khan went to her sister Karisma Kapoor's house with her younger son. This decision of Bebo has given rise to many questions as to why Kareena did this with Saif. Now Kareena herself has answered all the questions.

Why did you run to your sister's house?

Kareena Kapoor gave her statement to Mumbai Police on Friday. Kareena told that on the night of the attack, Kareena was on the 12th floor. Hearing the noise, she immediately came to the 11th floor. After this the actress saw that the attacker was present in the room of her younger son Jeh. Saif saved the child and the staff from him. Saif and Kareena also felt that the attacker was going to attack their youngest son Jeh.

Women were sent to the 12th floor

Kareena further told that after this a scuffle started between the attacker and Saif in which Saif got badly injured. However, in the meantime, Saif saved Jeh from the attacker and sent the children and all the women including Kareena to the 12th floor. After dodging the attacker and running away, Saif first sent Kareena and Jeh safely to sister Karishma's house. After that Saif took his 6 year old son Taimur in the auto to the hospital. When Saif reached the hospital, Karisma and Kareena also reached the hospital together.

After the attack on Saif Ali Khan, he is undergoing treatment in Lilavati Hospital. While sharing his health update, doctors have said that the actor's spinal cord was operated and a two and a half inch piece of the knife has been removed and he is out of danger. On Saturday, doctors at Lilavati Hospital said that Saif's condition has improved a lot and he is able to walk. Doctors also said that the actor can be discharged from the hospital in 2 to 3 days.
