During Maha Kumbh, Naga Sadhus take bath first. Other people can take bath only after the Naga Sadhus take bath. Therefore, on the day of Mahakumbh, one should not take bath in front of Naga Sadhus. Doing this is not considered good from religious point of view. This is a violation of the rules and Kumbh Snan does not yield auspicious results.
Rule 2
If you are going to take bath in Mahakumbh, then also remember that devotees should take bath 5 times. According to religious belief, when a householder takes bath 5 times in Mahakumbh, his Kumbhsnan is considered complete.
Rule 3
After bathing in Mahakumbh, water should be offered to Sun God with both hands. There has always been a dispute over who will take bath first in Mahakumbh. There has also been a fierce fight between Naga Sadhus and Bairagi Sadhus. After Mahant Baba Ramdas complained about this, separate ghats were arranged for Naga and Bairagi sadhus. After this, there was a dispute regarding the first bath in Haridwar and Prayag. According to the Puranas, when there was a struggle between the gods and demons to get the nectar pot, the churning of the ocean took place.
