New Delhi: Delhi BJP has posted the criminal history of its 6 candidates for the upcoming assembly elections-2025 and shared it with everyone. According to the format, any party that nominates a candidate against whom a case is pending or who is already convicted will have to provide this information to the public as per the instructions issued by the Election Commission.

BJP has shared this information with everyone in three threads on X Post. Regarding the criminal record of Chandan Kumar Choudhary, the candidate from Sangam Vihar, it has been told that a case has been registered against him for illegal construction, using caste based words under SC-ST Act and making criminal threats. While disclosing the criminal record of Laxmi Nagar candidate Abhay Kumar Verma, the party has said that an FIR has been registered against him in Shakarpur police station on charges of making criminal threats.

Regarding Rajouri Garden candidate Sardar Manjinder Singh Sirsa, the party has said that a case of defamation and illegal protest has been registered against him. Raj Kumar Anand, candidate from Patel Nagar, is accused of evasion of customs duty on imports and wrong declaration of customs duty. A case of damaging public property has been registered against Jangpura candidate Sardar Tarvinder Singh Marwah. A case has been registered in the police station against Badarpur candidate Narayan Dutt Sharma for preventing a public servant from performing his duty.
