Police detained a new suspect in Saif Ali Khan case, interrogation is taking place in Bandra police station.

Mumbai: Police have arrested a suspect in the case of attack on actor Saif Ali Khan. However, no official information has been given by Mumbai Police regarding this yet. The police have taken the suspect arrested in Hirasal to Bandra police station. He is being interrogated there. It is noteworthy that the attack on a famous person like Saif Ali Khan in a posh area like Bandra of Mumbai shocked the entire film industry. 60 days have passed since the attack. Till now the police has not been able to arrest the accused.

The police team is scanning the CCTV footage around his residence in Bandra. Despite this, the police have not found any clue, which is surprising. Questions are being raised on why she has not been able to identify or arrest the accused in this case till now. Police have formed 35 teams and are searching for the suspected accused.

The accused had entered Saif's house on the night of 15 January. According to the information, the accused was arguing with Saif Ali Khan's maid. Hearing the noise, he came out and was trying to calm down the matter. During this, the accused attacked Saif Ali Khan. He stabbed him at six places. Out of which three of his injuries are serious. Because of which he was admitted to the ICU ward. Seeing the improvement in his condition after the surgery, the doctors shifted him to the normal ward.

Identification of the attacker and police action

Mumbai Police has termed it as an “attempted robbery”. DCP Dixit Gedam said the attacker used a fire escape ladder to enter Saif's house. He had demanded Rs 1 crore. Considering the seriousness of the incident, the police have formed 20 teams to nab the attacker and every possible effort is being made. The attacker was last seen at Bandra Railway Station.

maid's statement

Saif's house maid told the police in her statement that during the incident the attacker tried to attack her with a hexa blade. He demanded that the family give him Rs 1 crore. According to the statement, when she asked the intruder what he wanted, he replied in English, “I want one crore.”

Kareena Kapoor's statement

After the incident, Kareena Kapoor issued an official statement on social media. He described it as an “extremely challenging time” for the family and requested the media and fans to maintain privacy. Kareena wrote, “This time is difficult for us. Please respect our boundaries and give us a chance to heal.”
