The person who attacked Saif turned out to be a 'Bangladeshi' citizen, had come to Mumbai 6 months ago
Saif Ali Khan attack: A big revelation has come to light in the case of knife attack on Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan. Mumbai Police has identified the attacker as Bangladeshi national Mohammad Aliyan alias Vijay Das. He was arrested from the Labor Camp area of Thane, where he worked in a pub. The accused confessed to the police that he had attacked Saif Ali Khan.
Use of fake Indian identity card
Let us tell you that the police suspect that the accused is a Bangladeshi immigrant, who was using a fake Indian identity card. However, he told the police that he was a resident of West Bengal. Mumbai Police has started investigating the true identity of the accused and several of his identities have also come to light, which include Vijay Das, Bijoy Das and Mohammad Ilyas.

Let us tell you that the accused also admitted that he entered the house of actor Saif Ali Khan in Bandra and attacked him with a knife. During this attack, doctors removed a 2.5 inch piece of the knife that broke from Saif's spinal cord. Police have also recovered a piece of knife from Saif's house in Bandra.
Police action and identification of other suspects
Apart from this, let us tell you that the police has detained another suspect in this case from Durg railway station of Chhattisgarh. However, no information has been given yet regarding his involvement. The police had also shared the photograph of the accused, who was caught from Dnyaneshwari Express.
