Under the Swamvaat Yojana, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave details of 65 lakh property cards in about 50,000 villages across the country and interacted with the beneficiary card holders of the scheme. 7968 household forms in 158 villages of Tehsil Aurai of Bhadohi district, Tehsil Bhadohi.
8226 Gharauni forms were distributed in 133 villages, 8808 Gharauni forms were distributed in 139 villages of Tehsil Gyanpur. A total of about 25002 Gharauni forms were distributed in 430 villages. In the programme, the District Magistrate administered the oath of cleanliness and drug addiction to the beneficiaries and rural people. The District Magistrate said that the ownership scheme is being implemented with the joint efforts of the Ministry of Panchayati Raj, Revenue Department, Panchayati Raj Department and Survey of India (SOI). The District Magistrate said that on one hand, the ownership scheme will resolve the land related disputes of the villagers and on the other hand, a clear map of the Gram Panchayat land will be available, which will make it easier to make various plans for the development of village infrastructure.
