Isuzu D-MAX BEV Concept entered in India at Auto Expo 2025…
Isuzu D-MAX BEV: Isuzu has unveiled the electric version of its D-Max pickup truck, the D-MAX BEV Concept, at the Bharat Mobility Show 2025 in India. There are some subtle changes to the exterior design of the D-MAX EV, which include a new grille, revised front and rear bumpers, new alloy wheels, and new headlights and taillights.
Although Isuzu has not given much information about its interiors, it is expected to have some minor changes like new upholstery and blue accents to match the exterior design.
Isuzu D-MAX BEV Concept: Powertrain
D-MAX BEV has a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 66.9 kWh, which generates a maximum power of 130 kW. Its front motor provides 40 kW power and rear motor provides 90 kW power, due to which the total torque reaches 325 Nm. In this, 108 Nm torque comes from the front motor and 217 Nm torque comes from the rear motor.
Concept: Towing and Payload
The D-MAX BEV has a top speed of over 130 km/h and a maximum payload capacity of 1,000 kg. This pickup is capable of pulling a weight of up to 3.5 tonnes. For charging, it supports CCS2 Type DC charging and Type 2 AC charging. Isuzu aims to provide a maximum driving range of 300 km for this electric pickup.
