Athletic Bilbao will be aiming to bounce back from successive defeats when they resume their La Liga campaign with a clash against Celta Vigo on Sunday afternoon.

The Basque outfit have not been in league action since December 21, and an excellent season to date has left them in fourth spot in the La Liga tablewhile Celta occupy 12th, picking up 24 points from their opening 19 matches of the campaign.

We say: Celta Vigo 1-1 Athletic Bilbao

Athletic will enter this match off the back of two disappointing results in the cup, but their league form is excellent, and we are struggling to back them to lose here; Celta, though, have been strong at home this term, and we have had to settle on a low-scoring draw here despite being close to backing an away success.

The reigning Spanish champions Real Madrid will be looking to record their 14th La Liga victory of the season when they welcome The Palms to Bernabeu on Sunday afternoon.

Los Blancos are currently second in the La Liga tableone point behind the leaders Atletico Madrid, while Las Palmas occupy 14th spot, with Los Amarillos picking up 22 points from their opening 19 matches of the campaign.

We say: Real Madrid 3-1 Las Palmas

Las Palmas have certainly got a goal in them, and we are expecting the visitors to give their fans something to cheer on Sunday afternoon. However, Real Madrid should have enough quality to navigate their way to an important three points at Bernabeu.

Rayo Vallecano will be aiming to stretch their unbeaten run of form in La Liga to six matches when they head to El Sadar Stadium on Sunday evening to tackle health.

The visitors are currently ninth in the La Liga tableboasting 25 points from their opening 19 matches of the campaign, while Osasuna are 11th, also on 25 points from the same number of fixtures.

We say: Osasuna 1-0 Rayo Vallecano

Osasuna beat Rayo 1-0 in the corresponding fixture during the 2024-25 campaign, and we can see the the same scoreline here; Moreno’s team have been strong at home this term and could shade a close contest at El Sadar.

La Liga's basement side Valencia will be aiming to record just their third league success of the 2024-25 campaign when they welcome Royal Society to Mestalla on Sunday night.

Valencia have only picked up 13 points from their 19 league matches during a difficult season, while Real Sociedad are up in seventh spot in the La Liga tabletwo points behind sixth-placed Mallorca in the race for Europe.

We say: Valencia 1-1 Real Sociedad

There have been positive signs from Valencia of late, and despite their struggles at home this season, we are expecting Los Che to be good enough for a share of the spoils, with Real Sociedad potentially being made to settle for a point.
