While talking to the media, Ghatampur police station in-charge Dhananjay Pandey said that the attacker had come alone on a bicycle to rob the bank. Before the incident, he had parked his bicycle next to the bank. After this, Pithu took out the pistol from the bag, put it on his waist and entered the bank with a knife in his hand. As soon as he entered inside, he attacked the guard. He could not succeed in his plans because the guard's eyes fell on his pistol.

At the same time, despite being injured by the robber's attack, the security guard did not leave his gun. The cashier took the gun from the guard and then hit the robber several times with the butt. After this, other bank employees also attacked the robber and beat him severely, after which he became unconscious.

Seeing the branch manager and other employees injured in the attack, the female employee pressed the alert button in the bank. Hearing the sound of alarm inside the bank, nearby people also gathered inside the bank.
