Former Indian bowler blasts BCCI for neglecting Karun Nair for Champions Trophy
Former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh lashed out at BCCI for not picking Karun Nair in the squad for Champions Trophy, even though the star player has performed massively well in domestic cricket.
Former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh lashed out at the team management over the topic of Karun Nair not being included from the squad for Champions Trophy 2025. On Saturday, Indian captain Rohit Sharma and chief selector Ajit Agarkar attended a press conference to announce India’s 15-man squad at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Nair has scored 27 runs runs in the Vijay Hazare Trophy final against Karnataka, and ended the season as the highest run-scorer with 779 runs in eight matches.
Harbhajan lashed out at the selectors for not taking Nair, and questioned whether there is any point of scoring runs in domestic cricket when they will not be getting any outcomes in the form of getting selected
“Is there a point playing Domestic cricket when you don’t pick players based on form & performance?,” Harbhajan posted on X.
