Railway budget will increase by this much

For the financial year 2024-25, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had announced a budget of Rs 2.65 lakh crore for the Railways. This budget included the salary and pension of railway employees as well as the modernization of Indian Railways. According to some media reports, the capital expenditure of Indian Railways may be increased by 15 to 20 percent in the upcoming budget. In such a situation, it is expected that Railways may get more than Rs 3 lakh crore for the financial year 2025-26.
