Semolina- 1 cup
Curd- 1 cup
Onion- 1/2 cup (finely chopped)
Green chilli- 1 (finely chopped)
Ginger- 1 inch (grated)
Carrot- 1/2 cup (grated)
Peas- 1/4 cup
Turmeric powder- 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander powder- 1/2 teaspoon
Garam masala- 1/4 teaspoon
Red chilli powder- 1/4 teaspoon
Cumin- 1/2 teaspoon
Asafoetida- 1/4 teaspoon
Salt as per taste
oil for frying
Green coriander (finely chopped) for garnish

method of making

To make semolina tikka, first take semolina in a bowl.
After this add curd to it and beat it well. Then cover it and keep it aside for about 15-20 minutes.
So that the curd and semolina mix well and the curd dries up in the semolina.
Then add onion, green chilli, ginger, carrot, peas, turmeric powder, coriander powder to the soaked semolina.
Also add garam masala, red chili powder, cumin, asafoetida and salt and mix well.
Then if the batter is thick then add some water to it and mix.
However, the batter should be thick enough to give the shape of tikki easily.
After this, make small tikkis from the batter with wet hands.
Now heat oil in a pan and fry the tikkis from both the sides till they turn golden.
If you want, you can also deep fry the tikkis.
Now your hot tasty Suji Tikka is ready.
Serve it with tomato sauce or green chutney and enjoy.
