New Delhi:- Aam Aadmi Party's national convenor Arvind Kejriwal told on Sunday that he has written a letter to PM Modi. In this he has said that the Central Government should give land on subsidy in Delhi and the Delhi Government will build houses on that land for the sanitation workers of Delhi. This house will be made available to the sanitation workers on easy installments. First this scheme will be for Municipal Corporation government employees and after that this scheme will be implemented for other government employees.

He said that there is a big housing problem in Delhi. It is almost impossible for a poor person to own a house in Delhi. During the election campaign, many sanitation workers meet me and tell me that by the time they retire from the job, they come on the streets. They don't even have enough pension to buy a house on rent. Nor do they save enough to buy a house. They are then forced to live their lives in the slum.

Arvind Kejriwal said, today we have written a letter to PM Modi, in which a plan should be made for the government employees in Delhi that the Central Government should give land on subsidy and the Delhi Government should build houses on that land. This will provide relief to government employees and they will be able to get ownership rights of the house. We can start this with the sanitation workers of NDMC and Delhi Municipal Corporation in Delhi. I hope that there will be no politics on this and the Prime Minister will agree. It will first start with the sanitation workers, after which this scheme will be implemented for other government employees.
