Swing broken in Etawah fair, fell from 30 feet height, heart will be shaken after watching the video

New Delhi: A major accident was averted late evening at an exhibition in Etawah district. Many swings were installed in the exhibition, one of which was rotating to a height of about 30 feet. Meanwhile, a trolley of the swing broke and five people sitting in it fell down. The incident created a stir and the injured were immediately sent to the district hospital as an emergency. When the condition of one person became critical, he was referred to Saifai Medical University.

The team reached the hospital

According to sources, more people were sitting in the swing than the prescribed limit, due to which this accident occurred. As soon as information about the incident was received, the team of General Secretary of Etawah Exhibition, Sub-Collector, Tehsildar and police officers reached the hospital. He took information about the incident from the injured and inquired about their well being. Kishori Radha, one of the injured, told that she and her two brothers were swinging on the swing, in which initially four people were sitting, but later an additional person was made to sit. Meanwhile, when the swing reached half the height, the trolley broke and everyone fell. The condition of one of them is critical.

It's around 8.30 pm

After the incident, SDM Vikram Raghav said that this incident happened around 8.30 pm. Five people were sitting in the trolley of the swing and this accident happened due to its breaking. Four people are undergoing treatment in the hospital, while one person has been referred to Saifai. The condition of all the injured is said to be stable. The SDM said that the reasons for the swing breaking will be investigated and strict action will be taken against the culprits.
