Landlord arrested, tenant was murdered by shooting him on the head, body was thrown in the pond after the murder, due to this he was killed

Delhi Crime News: The police have arrested the accused while uncovering a murder that took place in North Delhi. It was told that the landlord had shot his tenant dead for non-payment of loan. After this his dead body was thrown in the pond. According to the police, the deceased had taken Rs 5 lakh and a Mercedes car on loan from the accused. There was a dispute over not giving the promised money. After which he was shot dead.

On January 17, the body was found in a pond in Alipur area of ​​Outer North Delhi. Who was identified as Rakesh (29). The deceased had a bullet wound on his head. Blood stains were found on the roof of a nearby building. Which was partially cleaned. The police also found an empty bullet.

A special team (SIT) was formed to investigate this matter. According to Delhi Police, investigation has revealed that Rakesh was shot on the terrace and his body was thrown in the pond. The deceased's mother Bhagwati Devi told the police that Rakesh had left the house that day with his landlord's son Govind Ballabh. There was also mention of the ongoing property and financial dispute between the two tenants and Govind.

After this the police arrested the owner of the building, Govind. During police interrogation, Govind confessed to his crime. He told that he had killed Rakesh due to a financial dispute. Police said that Rakesh had taken Rs 5 lakh and a Mercedes car on loan from Govind, but could not return the promised money, which led to a dispute between the two and then Govind killed Rakesh. At present, the police is busy taking further action against the accused in this case.
