Odisha Police SI Recruitment 2025: Application begins today at odishapolice.gov.in
New Delhi: The Odisha Police Recruitment Board will start the Odisha Police Sub Inspector (SI) and other vacancies recruitment application process today, January 20. The late date to fill out the application form is February 10. Candidates can fill out the form and check the detailed Odisha Police SI recruitment 2025 notification on the official website of the board at odishapolice.gov.in.
Through this recruitment drive, a total of 933 posts of Sub Inspector and other vacancies will be filled.

Odisha Police SI Recruitment 2025: Who can apply?
- Candidates must have passed Middle English (ME) school or higher exam with Odia as a subject or passed Class 12 or equivalent with Odia as a medium in non-language subjects or passed the written test in Odia in ME school conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha.
- The age of the candidate needs to be between 21 to 25 years as of January 1, 2024. For the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Socially and Economically Backward Class (SEBC) category and women candidates the upper age is relaxable by five years.
- The applicant must be a citizen of India, be of good morals and character and be of sound health and physique, free from any organic defect or body infirmity.
- Candidates must be able to speak, read and write Odia.
- Candidates should not have more than one spouse living.
- Candidates should not have been convicted of any criminal offence.
- Women and transgender candidates can apply only for the SI Police and Assistant Jailor posts.
- Persons with Disability (PwD) category candidates are not eligible to apply for these posts.
- For ex-servicemen category candidates, the entire term of service will be relaxed.
- Candidates who are eligible for age relaxation under more than one category will get the one which will benefit more.
