Mobile World Group’s Apple retail subsidiary breaks even
TopZone, electronics retailer Mobile World Group’s chain for selling Apple products, has broken even three years after being incorporated.
It reported profits of VND80 billion (US$3.16 million) for 2024 on revenues of VND3 trillion, according to Mobile World CEO Doan Van Hieu Em.

The chain, which sells almost everything from iPhone to Macbooks, had 86 stores at the end of last year, including large standalone ones and smaller ones often situated next to Mobile World’s two major retail chains The Gioi Di Dong and Dien May Xanh.
Mobile World’s market share of Apple products in Vietnam had increased from 25% to 45% as of September 2023, according to Vietcombank Securities.
Em said Mobile World accounted for 60% of Vietnam’s smartphone market as of July 2024.
Its revenues rose by 13% in 2024 to VND122.3 trillion.
