News – held himself responsible for the failure of Game Changer
Mumbai . It took director S Shankar three long years to complete Ramcharan starrer Game Changer, made with a budget of Rs 450 crore, but its performance is facing criticism.
Director S Shankar has admitted his mistake on the average performance of the film and held himself responsible for it. Shankar said that no filmmaker is ever completely satisfied with his film, and he also felt that Game Changer could have been better. He admitted that there were some great scenes in the film, but these scenes were cut short to limit the running time of the film.
Shankar told that the total duration of the film was five hours, but to reduce it to three hours, many important scenes were removed. He likens it to sculpture, like carving a stone to make something good, but sometimes some important parts have to be left out. The makers of the film were also accused of spending Rs 75 crore on four songs, but Shankar rejected this claim. He said that this is not true and some people are spreading false rumors about the film, such as the film has increased its tax four times.
