The 76th Republic Day will be celebrated in India on 26 January. Regarding this, all the security agencies in Delhi are busy in strengthening the security. Which has now been made even more stringent. While the police team is checking vehicles and suspects by setting up pickets in the border areas, the security check of the metro station has also been increased.

Strict monitoring is also being maintained on the metro platforms. Passengers have to wait a long time at the metro station. People are facing difficulties at metro stations like Central Secretariat and Rajiv Chowk. At the same time, long lines of passengers are seen outside most of the stations including other metro stations of Delhi like Dwarka, Nawada, Uttam Nagar, INA, New Delhi.

DMRC official said that CISF has made arrangements for strict security check in Delhi Metro on Republic Day. This arrangement will remain in force till January 27. During this period, especially during rush hour, passengers may have to face long queues at some metro stations. Passengers have been appealed to cooperate with the Central Industrial Security Forces in security checks and to leave with sufficient time. Let us tell you that in view of Republic Day, security arrangements have been tightened to avoid any untoward incident.
