This Indian player has left cricket to become a businessman in the hope of returning to Team India, Rohit-Agarkar is not giving him a chance
Team India: Chief selector Ajit Agarkar and captain Rohit Sharma on Saturday announced the team for the ODI series and Champions Trophy against England in Mumbai. Amidst all this, Shreyas Iyer returned to the team, along with Mohammed Shami and Kuldeep Yadav also returned after a gap of one year. In this, many players have been included in Team India. But there is one player whose name is not in the team for both the tournaments.
Did not get another chance in Team India
Actually, we are not talking about anyone else but wicketkeeper batsman Ishan Kishan. Ishaan has once again not been included in the Indian team. Ishan Kishan is out of Team India since 2023. During this time, he has been continuously showing his strength in domestic cricket, but he has not been able to return to the national team. Kishan was dropped from Team India due to neglecting domestic cricket.
Ishaan is going to open a cricket academy
Not only this, he was also dropped from the central contract of BCCI. However, after being continuously ignored, Kishan has not given up hope of making a comeback. Now he has come into a new role in Bihar. Team India's left-handed wicketkeeper batsman has announced the opening of his cricket academy in Patna. He gave this information by posting a story on Instagram. He has named his academy 'The Ishan Kishan Academy'.
Ishaan is excited about the new academy
Ishaan wrote, 'A new beginning. I am working hard in this work, I am very happy doing this work. Very excited to start this journey in my hometown. Despite being out of Team India, instead of being disappointed, Ishan Kishan has made a new beginning. This initiative of his can become a ray of hope for the cricket lovers of his hometown and will help in bringing out new cricket talent from Bihar.
Ishaan will play for SRH in IPL
In the recently concluded Vijay Hazare Trophy, Ishaan scored 316 runs in 7 matches while playing for Jharkhand. His average was 45.14 and strike rate was around 128. His explosive innings of 134 runs in 78 balls against Manipur is a proof of his brilliant performance. Team India player Ishan Kishan will be seen playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2025. Earlier he was a part of Mumbai Indians, where he played many memorable innings.
