Mental stress also increases in children due to obesity. Children's self-confidence starts decreasing, and they do not feel comfortable in the group, due to which they become victims of mental tension and stress.

Fatty Liver:
Obesity can cause problems like fatty liver in children. Apart from fatty liver, obesity also affects the mental health of children, which can be dangerous for them.

Joint Pain:
Obesity causes extra pressure on the bones and joints of children, which causes problems like joint pain (wrist, knee, elbow). This can further cause serious diseases like arthritis.

How to control obesity?
Some easy solutions to control obesity in children:

Children should be protected from eating junk food, processed food and overly sweet things.
Children should always avoid outside food and eat nutritious and balanced home-made food.

Children should eat green vegetables, fruits, pulses and whole grains.
Children should include low-fat items in their diet.
Many researches have proved that screen time increases obesity, hence children should not spend too much time on TV, mobile, and tablet.
Children should do sports or physical activity for 1 hour every day.
Children should take 8-10 hours of sleep, because adequate sleep keeps the body weight balanced.
