New Delhi : Indian Railways has made a big announcement for RAC ticket holders. Now he is going to give a big gift to these passengers with RAC tickets. Railways is going to change the RAC rules. According to the new rules, now passengers traveling on RAC tickets in Railways will be given full bedroll in AC coaches. Earlier, two people traveling in AC class were given one bedroll together.
This decision of Railways will help those RAC passengers who used to pay full amount for the ticket. But even after this, only half the seats were given to the passengers. According to these new rules of Railways, RAC passengers will be given packaged bedrolls. This bedroll includes 2 bedsheets, a blanket, a pillow and a towel for the passengers. Till now, passengers with RAC tickets had to travel on half the seat of the side lower berth. Earlier one had to share a seat with another person, but now passengers will get a complete seat with a complete bedroll.

Full form of RAC is Reservation Against Cancellation. Which simply means that those with RAC tickets are confirmed only when the person in front has to cancel his ticket. In such a situation, under RAC, you have to share the seat with 2 people sitting on the same seat. However, now according to the new rules, passengers with RAC tickets will be given full seats. In such a situation, you will not only get space to sit on the seat, but will also be able to sleep comfortably.

RAC seat in sleeper coach
Currently, sleeper coaches have only side lower berths, in which all coaches have 7 RAC seats, in which only passengers can travel. If a person occupying a RAC seat cancels his ticket, the entire seat is given to the person in front of him.
