The actor had posted some photos of Diljit Dosanjh’s most awaited film ‘Punjab 95’ a long time ago. Since then people were waiting a lot for this film, but now his fans will have to wait more for it. The release date of the film has changed once again. The actor posted on his Instagram account, in which he apologized to the people and wrote that we are very sad to tell that due to some reasons ‘Punjab 95’ will not be released on February 7, it is not in our hands. Reacting to this, people have demanded to release it on OTT also.
Why is there a delay?
The release of the film is being delayed due to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). This film is based on the life of human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra, the release of which is being delayed due to the ongoing disputes with CBFC. Initially CBFC had demanded a total of 120 cuts in this film. This film reveals the story of atrocities on Sikhs committed by Punjab Police during the 1990s, due to which there is an ongoing controversy.
Released the trailer of the film
‘Punjab 95’ was scheduled to release on 7th February, due to which its trailer was launched a week before the release date. People liked the trailer of this film very much, but later it was removed from India’s YouTube. Now while searching for its trailer, it is told that this video is not available in the country. Currently fans are waiting for the new release date of this film.
