ICC warns India! Will action be taken for not writing Pakistan on Champions Trophy jersey?
Sports Desk: The Champions Trophy is going to start from 19th February. This time the hosting of this ICC tournament is in the hands of Pakistan. But all India's matches are going to be held in Dubai. In such a situation, news is now coming that India has clearly refused to write Pakistan's name in its Champions Trophy T-shirt. After which now ICC's reaction has also come to light on this decision of India.
Actually, the Champions Trophy was earlier going to be organized in Pakistan. But India had clearly refused to send its team to Pakistan. After which there was a lot of commotion. But later it was decided to conduct this tournament in hybrid model. Where all India's matches will be played in Dubai. But now once again there are reports that India has refused to write its name on Pakistan on its T-shirt, but this time ICC has made it clear that it is mandatory for everyone to follow the rules.
Pakistan's name will not be on Indian jersey
There are reports that India has refused to write the name of host Pakistan on its Champions Trophy T-shirt due to political reasons. Due to which another controversy has arisen. Because it is an ICC rule that in any ICC tournament the name of the host has to be written on the jersey. On which now ICC has also reacted.
ICC made it clear
An ICC official has clearly stated that as per cricket standard branding practices, participating teams like India have to display the tournament logo and the name of the host country. However, let us tell you that India has not yet officially announced whether it will write the name of Pakistan on its jersey or not.

Rohit Sharma will not go to Pakistan

But it does not seem possible for Indian captain Rohit Sharma to go to Pakistan for the photoshoot of this tournament, because BCCI will not send any of its players to Pakistan due to security reasons.
