Latehar: Criminals opened fire in broad daylight at the NH construction site near Domuhan river in Manika police station area. In this firing, site engineer Dipankar was shot in the leg.

Militant organizations and criminal gangs are believed to be behind the firing incident. Manika police station has reached the spot and is investigating. The injured engineer has been admitted to the hospital, after first aid he has been sent to Latehar Sadar Hospital. Manika police station in-charge Shashi Kumar has said that the matter is being investigated.
