APPSC group 1 mains exam schedule released; check dates here

New Delhi: The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission has released the APSSC group 1 services mains exam schedule. The APPSC group 1 mains exam dates can be checked on the official website of the commission at psc.ap.gov.in.

The Main exam will commence in a single shift between May 3 to May 9. It will start at 10 AM and will conclude by 1 PM.

To check and download the APPSC group 1 services mains exam timetable candidates first will have to go to the official website. In the announcement section on the homepage click on the mains exam schedule link. After clicking the link, the complete timetable PDF will be displayed on the screen. Download the PDF and the printout of it for records.

Looking into the events of paper leaks that are ongoing with the exams conducted across the country this year, the APPSC group 1 main question papers will provided on digital devices at the exam centre. Candidates will have to write the answers using pen and paper. The questions will only be accessible on the provided tablets.

APSSC group 1 services mains exam pattern

The APPSC group 1 main written exam will have only descriptive-type questions. As per APSSC, the papers in Telugu and English are qualifying in nature. Paper 1 (General Essay) will have questions on contemporary themes and issues of regional, national and international importance. In paper 2 candidates will have to attempt questions on the history, culture and geography of India and Andhra Pradesh. Paper 3 will be on polity, constitution, governance, law and ethics. Paper 4 will cover the economy and development of India and Andhra Pradesh. The last paper will have questions on science, technology and environmental issues.
