After Airtel, Jio users will also get a big shock; Internet data will not be available with these recharge plans

Jio Tariff Hike: Last month, TRAI had ordered to offer only voice and SMS recharge plans without data. After which the companies were expected to introduce new cheap plans. Following the new guidelines, Airtel has released its two recharge plans without internet data. However, the prices of these two plans are the same as the old plan. Meanwhile, Jio is also working on revising its most affordable value packs.

Actually, a tipster named Abhishek Yadav has given information about Jio's new value packs through changes in the source code. Jio currently offers three value plans under Rs 189, Rs 479 and Rs 1,899. According to the tipster and source code, Jio's Rs 479 plan will no longer come with 6GB total data. In this plan with validity of 84 days, only unlimited voice calling and 1,000 SMS will be available. However, the telecom operator will offer another plan priced at Rs 539 with a validity of 84 days, which will offer 6GB data along with unlimited voice calling and 1,000 SMS.

Apart from this, the telecom operator will introduce a new plan of its Rs 1,999 plan for 365 days. In which unlimited voice calling and 3,600 SMS will be given. The price of the current Rs 1,899 plan is likely to increase to Rs 2,249. However, like before, it will provide 336 days validity, 24GB total data, unlimited calling and 3,600 SMS. At present, the new plans and changes have not yet appeared on the official website of Jio. These may come into effect soon.
