New Delhi: Coming as a shocker, comedian Kapil Sharma has reportedly received a death threat. It is being said that the threat not only targets the 43-year-old star but also his family members, relatives and neighbours.
Mumbai Police was quoted as saying by IANS that similar threats were earlier sent to Rajpal Yadav and Remo D’Souza. The news agency was further informed that a case under Section 351(3) has been registered by Amboli Police. Further investigations are underway into the matter.

According to a freepressjournal.in reportthe threats were sent through emails. It is believed that preliminary findings suggest the origin of these messages was traced to Pakistan, with the sender identifying as ‘Vishnu’ in the email signature via the address don99284@gmail.com.
The report further stated that the email mentioned the recent actions of these celebrities were being watched closely. It added that the recipients must take these messages seriously and maintain confidentiality. Further details into the matter are still awaited.

For the unversed, Kapil is one of the most prominent faces of Indian television. Over the years, he has created a special place in the hearts of fans with his humour and wit.
