Again, the controversy-tainted Bollywood actress Rakhi Sawant made headlines by sending an open dance challenge to Pakistani actresses Hania Aamir, Nargis, and Deedar, along with hinting at her intentions to visit Pakistan. Recently, there was a fight between Bollywood actress and dancer Nora Fatehi and Rakhi over doing a joint performance. Nora backed out at the eleventh hour though she had demanded double the fee of Rakhi. Rakhi took strong objection to the unprofessional conduct of Nora Fatehi.
In a viral video, Rakhi spoke to Nora Fatehi, telling her to respect Pakistanis. She said that she, being an Indian, has shown love to Pakistan, saying, “I have eaten their salt, and most of my fans are from Pakistan.” Rakhi then challenged Hania Aamir, Nargis, and Deedar to a dance challenge, boldly stating that she is India’s number one dancer and can defeat them because she can dance nonstop for 24 hours.
Rakhi also thanked her Pakistani fans, stating that they frequently gift her digitally through social media sites. She said that this relationship with her fans makes her feel like she has “eaten Pakistan’s salt.” She also added that when she met Pakistani cricketer Wasim Akram, he was “dumbstruck”.
Hania Aamir reacted rather amasingly on her Instagram, posting an act video during makeup where Hania mimed the words and then added lightheartedly to make fun of what had happened “Rakhi ji is a star.”
Recently, Rakhi uploaded a video on Instagram where she was at the airport with her luggage, stating that she was heading to Pakistan. She turned to Hania and declared, “I am coming to Pakistan to meet you, Nargis, and Deedar. Is there space for me in your house? Your sister Rakhi Sawant is coming to see you.” She further said, “Come and pick me up from the airport, Hania. Love you so much.”
In the same video, Rakhi also sent a message to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying she was disappointed over the ban on TikTok in India. She demanded that it be restored as Indians are being left jobless while the rest of the world is earning from TikTok. Rakhi dramatically warned that if TikTok is not restored in India, she would move to Pakistan, marry a Pakistani man, and enjoy halwa puri.
