In fact, JDU Manipur President Biren Singh issued a letter on Wednesday 22 January, in this letter he had talked about withdrawing his support to the NDA government of Manipur. After the letter came to light, there was a stir in the politics of Bihar and Delhi. After this, JDU national spokesperson Rajeev Ranjan has quickly issued a statement. In this statement he said that confusion is being spread regarding Manipur. JDU will continue to support the NDA government in Manipur. Along with this, JDU spokesperson said that Manipur JDU President Biren Singh has been removed from his post.

The NDA government in Manipur will continue as before. Rajeev said that Manipur State President had shown indiscipline through his letter, that is why he has now been removed from his post. Rajiv Ranjan said that Biren Singh had written the letter of separation without talking to the central leadership.
